Creativity in Teaching and Learning: This course was so helpful and really allowed me to think about teaching, and my own learning, in such a different way. The progression of this course was important because it allowed me to work with different learning styles, and emphasized the importance of trying incorporating those learning styles into the classroom. I believe it allowed my students to experience learning in ways that they hadn't before.

This year was extremely important to my Master's Degree. Not only did I take these four classes, each focusing on a different subject area, but I gained an understanding of teaching in a first grade classroom with a great mentor teacher and welcoming faculty. This year allowed me the insight of creating extensive lesson and unit plans, along with taking on lead teaching for twelve weeks. I had the opportunity to implement a whole unit lesson plan, using pre- and post-assessments, along with anaylzing the data that I collected to see the effectiveness of my unit plan. It was an invaluable experience.
